What does a Secretary / Workflow Administrator do?

Our Workflow team deal with outgoing referrals to other organisations, along with incoming letters and correspondance such as discharge summaries and clinical letters from hospitals and other care providers.

These letters are reviewed by the Workflow Team so that important information about your care is coded to your records and brought to the attention of the GP to action where required.

The team process a high volume of clinical documents, ensuring care is recieved swiftly and information is recorded accurately to aid the ongoing care of our patients. 

As well as processing high numbers of documents and referrals, the Workflow Team plays a key part in our Registrations and Deductions processes, ensuring your records are transferred from your current GP Surgery to your new one, and your medical conditions are correctly coded so that our GP Surgery Team can follow up with you appropriately.
